Comparison is the thief of happiness.

I am responsible for overseeing human resources, marketing, administration & procedures, claims & accounts at BurMac.
I also manage a client portfolio with a few select clients. I started in the insurance industry during the school holidays, helping out with the filing & other admin tasks in 2006. In October 2007 I started full-time as an Executive Assistant.

I studied through NIBA College & gained my Diploma of Financial Services & my QPIB, & became a senior account executive. In 2017, I was given the opportunity to move into a management role, & am now the Operations Manager at BurMac.

We joke at BurMac that we are all related, but we really do support each other like family. We have such an incredible team, the office culture is really enjoyable, as well as being professional & productive. Everyone is approachable, we spend quite a bit of time discussing ideas with each other & to maintain the high standards we hold ourselves to.

All of my family were raised in Dubbo, & my parents are 2nd generation local business owners. I attended school in Dubbo until I was 13, after that I went to boarding school in Sydney, at St Scholastica’s Boarding College until I completed my HSC in 2007. When I returned home, I started working in Insurance immediately & met my husband, Joel, who was panel beating at my parents workshop at the time. Being raised within a family business meant that I understood how important service is, & gave me an in depth perception of the sort protection local businesses in regional areas need.

When I’m not working, I’m always with my husband & our children, whether its camping, motorbike riding, gardening, cooking or just hanging out by the backyard firepit.
